Danet Linares has been named senior vice president, director of real estate services, for Foram Group, the developers of Brickell Financial Centre in downtown Miami. Linares will be responsible for managing Foram Group's real estate platform throughout the region and will work with CEO Loretta Cockrum to create acquisition and development opportunities.
The Realtor Association of Greater Miami and the Beaches has elected its 2008 Board of Directors: Kimberly Kirschner, chairman; Maurice "Moe" Veissi, president; Rick Burch, chairman-elect; J.R. Steinbauer, secretary; and Augusto J. Fonte, treasurer. Tom Byrne of Esslinger-Wooten-Maxwell Inc. has been appointed president of the Realtors Commercial Alliance of Greater Miami and the Beaches. He was formerly president of the Commercial Industrial Association of South Florida. Named to the group's Board of Governors are J.R. Glenn Gregory has joined Jones Lang LaSalle's Miami office as a senior vice president.
Summer Greene, regional manager of Prudential Florida 1st Realty in Fort Lauderdale, has been installed as the 2008 secretary of the Florida Association of Realtors.
Robert Kesten has joined Adorno & Yoss as a partner in the law firm's Boca Raton office. He will focus on real estate transactional issues.
Matthew Greer has been named chief executive officer of Carlisle Development Group in Miami.
Christian Lee and Charles Foschini have each been promoted to vice chairman of CB Richard Ellis in Miami. Paul Cohen has been promoted to senior vice president.
Noelle Thibaut has joined Rendina Companies in Jupiter as associate leasing director.

Pasquale Kuritzky Architecture of Fort Lauderdale has been selected to provide architectural services for the Golden Acres Community in Pompano Beach. This 302-unit affordable rental project, at Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard and Northwest 18th Drive, will be developed on land owned by the Housing Authority of Pompano Beach. Pinnacle Housing Group of Miami won a competitive bid to design and build the new apartment community.
Moss & Associates of Fort Lauderdale has begun construction on a new energy-efficient U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services facility at 9300 Belvedere Road in Royal Palm Beach. Moss is serving as general contractor for the project.
Gables Residential will relocate its South Florida office to a full floor at the Mizner Park office tower this fall. The company has leased 22,151 square feet at 225 Northeast Mizner Boulevard from General Growth Properties Inc.
Fairchild Partners Inc. of Coral Gables has been named the exclusive leasing and marketing agent for the Bank of America Tower at International Place, a 600,000-square-foot office building at 100 S.E. Second St. in Miami, owned by Hamburg, Germany-based Blue Capital.
CB Richard Ellis has been selected by Discovery Real Estate Services to handle the management of four South Florida office properties totaling 531,810 square feet. The buildings include Wachovia Tower in Fort Lauderdale, the Peacock DEA Building in Port St. Lucie, Sheridan Street Professional Plaza in Hollywood and the Silver Lakes Professional Center in Pembroke Pines.
