Come April 10, The Broker Boxing Federation plans to put gloves on 16 members of the real estate community and let them take out their frustrations on each other.
It's all for a good cause: The Alonzo Mourning Charity Foundation. Previous Broker Boxing Federation events have raised $1 million for charity.
Organizers are already promising this will be the most talked about real estate charity event of the year. And why not?
The latest posting of matchups on the group's web site– www.bbfmiami.com – lists an eight-bout card featuring real estate professionals including as Thomas Kramer, Grant Killingsworth and Ernie Cambo.
A panel of local celebrity judges is scheduled to include Diego Lowenstein, Michael Capponi, Michael Comras, Gil Dezer, Keith Menin and Jimmy Resnick. A blowout "halftime show" is promised and an invitation is out for "ring girls."
Organizers say they expect a crowd of about 2,000 at Mansion Miami, 1235 Washington Ave. in South Beach.
The fun starts at 6:30. See you there.
