Continued from Young guns: The changing face of commercial real estate

Choosing 10 young commercial brokers to feature wasn't easy; competition is tough in South Florida. Here are another five who deserve at least an honorable mention:

Christopher Thomson

A key component of the Etner-Metzer-Groden industrial team at Cushman & Wakefield is 31-year-old Christopher Thomson. He started his career as an intern for the Codina Realty Group in 1997. When he graduated from Florida State University in 1999, he was hired by Cushman & Wakefield. Since 2001, Thomson has been focusing on industrial projects, land sales and acquisitions in Palm Beach County. Recently. he helped United Auto and Millwork Sales acquire land in Royal Palm Beach. Other past clients include ITT, Sensormatic, Vital Pharma and the Rockefeller Development Group.

Audley Bosch

At 31 years old, Audley Bosch is associate director of industrial brokerage services in Miami-Dade for Cushman & Wakefield. In the last two years, Bosch's team has completed $400 million worth of real estate transactions. His ability to show Cushman & Wakefield the money has earned him company awards like Rookie of the Year (2005) and the Performance Excellence Award (2006). He has also been nominated for the Beacon Council's Young Leader's Taskforce.

Luciano Rappa

At age 32, Luciano Rappa co-owns Kaizen Realty Partners, which specializes in properties near Miami International Airport. He counts as his clients Pharmed Group, Delta Enterprises, PS Business Parks, Valls Group, Burger King Corp., Tamach Group, MOBO USA, Scorpion Air Cargo, Yamata USA and Univision Network. He is also a director of the Florida Association of Realtors and Commercial Industrial Association of South Florida, a governor of the Realtor Association of Greater Miami and the Beaches, and a member of the National Association of Realtors.

Robert Meneses

Robert Meneses, 32, has been in commercial real estate since 1995, conducting transactions west of Miami International Airport and in Doral, Coral Gables, Medley and Hialeah. He is co-owner of Kaizen Realty Partners with Luciano Rappa. Meneses counts as his clients Turnberry and Associates, Cabi Developers, PS Business Parks, JAS Fowarding, Tamach Group, Valls Group and National Constructors. He is also a board member of the Industrial Association of Dade County.

H. Alan Welles

At age 29, H. Alan Welles has already owned H. Alan Welles Real Estate for eight years. The Palm Beach County-based company has closed $100 million in sales on almost 1 million square feet of retail, industrial, office and multi-family rental space. Welles has been in the business for 10 years and along the way has bought a few buildings of his own. He's a former president of the Realtors Commercial Alliance of Palm Beach County and of the Florida Chapter of the Certified Commercial Investment Members. In 2007, Welles received the Best Deal of the Year award from the Realtors Commercial Alliance for a deal involving an old Marriott hotel that took seven years to close.
