Luxury French jeweler Van Cleef & Arpels has relocated along Worth Avenue, remaining a beacon of opulence even as competitors such as Bulgari and Chopard leave Palm Beach's premier shopping strip. Emmanuel Perrin, the jewelry company's president and CEO, said Palm Beach is a historic and sentimental place for the brand and is its second oldest store in the United States. The new location at 202 Worth Avenue is roughly 1,800 square feet, 15 percent larger than the original spot at 249 Worth Avenue. Christopher Ramey, chairman of The Luxury Marketing Council Florida, said Worth Avenue remains a draw for the world's wealthiest shoppers. [Palm Beach Daily News]
